BRIE LARSON WINS BEST ACTRESS ACADEMY AWARD FOR ‘ROOM’ February 29, 2016

Brie Larson has been named Best Actress at this years Academy awards for her role in Lenny Abrahamson’s Room!

Larson took the award for her Golden Globe and BAFTA winning turn as ‘Ma’ in the critically lauded film, based on the book of the same name by Irish author Emma Donoghue (Oscar nominated herself in the category of Best adapted screenplay).

Room was nominated for four awards at last nights ceremony, including Best Picture and Best Director for Lenny Abrahamson.

Screen Scene would like to congratulate Larson on her well deserved win for her fearless performance!

An Element Pictures and No Trace Camping production, produced by Ed Guiney and David Gross, the movie was edited by Nathan Nugent here at Screen Scene, where Screen Scene VFX provided all the films visual effects.
