The multilingual four part series examines four decades of Irish catholic missionary activity in China.
Raising interesting questions about cultural interaction and the motivation of the Irish missionaries who first went to China as an organised group in 1920, episode one will set the social and political context of China at the time.
Produced by Michele Cronin for Esras Films, Directed by Peter Kelly and Edited by Eoin McDonagh, the series completed post production here at Screen Scene, where Eimear Boyle was the online editor, Sophia graded and Ken Galvin provided the Sound Mix.
