‘FIGHT TO BREATHE’ CYSTIC FIBROSIS AWARENESS CAMPAIGN October 24, 2017

The average person takes 16 breaths per minute. A person with Cystic Fibrosis has to fight for every single one.

“Fight to Breathe” is a new 60-second advertisement that graphically illustrates how life for a person with cystic fibrosis is a constant fight to breathe and welcomes audiences to experience that fight for themselves.

The campaign is the creation of Conor Hamill and Laura Cahill from ad agency Rothco, winners of the Irish Film Young Lions competition, whose prize was to see their creative concept for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland go from script to screen.

Screen Scene’s Hubert Montag provided all the animation for the spot and can be seen in the insightful making-of HERE

Produced by Wide Eye Media and funded by the Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland (IAPI). the campaign is set to run in 73 cinemas nationwide for six weeks from October 20th.
