The latest series of First Dates Ireland comes to a close tonight on RTE 2 at 9.30pm.

Featuring some of the most memorable match-ups of the season, highlights include ultra shy actor Danny and the romance masterclass he got from film student Caoilainn; and Ronan, who ended up discussing sex-robots with computer programmer and ferret-lover Tanya, among others.

Produced by Coco Television, the Irish version of the hugely popular Channel 4 show First Dates launched here to rapturous response from viewers and critics in April 2016, and has been going from strength to strength in ratings ever since.

For the uninitiated, the show sees singles from across the country arrive at a restaurant for a blind date, where tiny cameras unobtrusively capture every moment of their time together as they size each other up and decide whether they’re interested in taking things further.

Screen Scene are proud to have provided Picture and Sound post production services for the series since its launch, with the latest season edited by Ciara Brophy and Martha Meyler,

Warren Dowling was the finishing editor, Donal O’Kane graded, Mark Fitzpatrick mixed sound, Simon Thornton handled Media Management, and Aishling Vesey supervised post production.

Hilary O’Donovan was the Series Producer for Coco Television.

Well done to all involved on another incredible season!
