GAME OF THRONES WINS EMMY AWARD FOR VFX September 14, 2015

Boom! HBO’s Game of Thrones has taken home the award for Outstanding Special Visual Effects at this years Creative Arts Emmy’s!

Team Screen Scene were over the moon to be one of the many VFX studios working on the show’s fifth season, with Visual Effects Supervisor Ed Bruce & VFX Producer Alan Collins leading our fantastic SSVFX team here in Dublin as they worked their magic on over 250 shots for the ground breaking fifth series; 88 of which where featured in the Emmy award winning episode in question, ‘The Dance of Dragons’.

Huge congratulations to VFX Producer Steve Kullback, VFX Supervisor Joe Bauer and VFX Associate Producer Adam Chazen and all involved with GOT on the well deserved win! The fantasy phenomenon took home 8 gongs in all at the glittering ceremony which took place in Los Angeles this past weekend.

SSVFX’s upcoming projects include Lenny Abrahamson’s ‘Room’, ITV’s The Frankenstein Chronicles‘, and the screen adaptation of Ken Follett’s best selling novel A Dangerous Fortune’.
