‘Game of Thrones’ wins VFX Emmy September 12, 2016

HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ has taken home the Best Visual Effects award at this years Creative Arts Emmys!

Screen Scene VFX  supplied over 600 effects shots for Game of Thrones sixth season, contributing close to 150 shots to the award winning episode, ‘Battle of the Bastards’.

“Huge congrats to all the VFX Crews & vendors on the Emmy win,” our overjoyed VFX Supervisor Ed Bruce gushed upon hearing the news. “There are so many wonderful vendors doing amazing work on this show. I am incredibly proud of the hard working & talented team here at Screen Scene, it truly is a pleasure to supervise such a brilliant group of people. Once again, their hard work, diligence & craft paid off.”

Game of Thrones has been nominated for 23 Emmy’s in total at this years awards, including Outstanding Drama Series, and took home nine awards in total at last nights creative Arts ceremony.
