Tesco’s Christmas ad campaign ‘Here’s to the Hosts’ continues to run across television screens in the run-up to Christmas this Sunday.

Directed by award-winning documentary-director Ken Wardrop, each advert sees real people from across the country reading out a letter they’ve written to the person who hosts them for Christmas dinner, thanking them for their hospitality.

Featuring 35 advertisements in total, you can check out the campaigns brilliant launch video below, cut by our very own Jake Walshe:

And for a nice jolt to the feelings, get your (soon to be misty) eyes on the lovely “Dear Nana, Love Caitlin” spot cut by Juniper Calder:

Directed by Ken Wardrop and Produced by Andrew Freedman for Production Company Antidote, the ‘Here’s to the Hosts’ campaign was created by advertising Agency Rothco, where Paddy Geraghty was the Art Director, Morgan Fiebig was the copywriter, and Jessica Derby was the Agency producer.

Picture and Sound posted here at Screen Scene, the spots were edited by Jake Walshe, Juniper Calder, Tom O’Flaherty, and Juangus Dinsmore.

Gavin Casey was the Flame operator, the Sound design was handled by Will Farrell, while Sinead Bagnall was the post producer.

The campaign will continue from now until Christmas.
