ICAD AWARDS June 9, 2015

The 2015  Awards took place in Vicar Street on the 28th of May, and we are delighted to report that Screen Scene stalwarts Jake Walshe and Hubert Montag were among those honoured for their fantastic output at this years event.

For the uninitiated, the ICAD’s are the annual awards for the achievement of Creative Excellence in Irish Advertising and Design. Considered the pre-eminent Irish creative industry accolade, two gold, 14 silver and 64 bronze ICAD “bells” were handed over to the lucky commended parties at the glittering awards ceremony.

The Category juries score the submitted work based on three criteria; Each idea must be original and inspiring, well executed and relevant to its context, with a bronze bell awarded for excellence, silver for outstanding and a gold for the exceptional.

Screen Scene’s commercial graphics department was awarded the bronze bell for Animation for their terrrific work on UPC BORADBAND commercial ‘Penguin’ (seen below). Huge congrats to Hubert Montag and Mal Stevenson on the well deserved recognition they received for their work on the spot, which was created by Irish International.
