The 2017 Golden Globes take place this Sunday, with John Carney’s critically acclaimed Sing Street in the running for Best Motion Picture in the Comedy or Musical category.

Kicking off the 2017 awards season, the glittering ceremony will be hosted by the inimitable Jimmy Falllon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills (obviously).

Sing Street will compete against the likes of Deadpool, La La Land and Florence Foster Jenkins for the top honours, and we’d like to wish all involved the very best of luck on the big night.

The nostalgic musical, which was written and directed by John Carney, underwent full picture and sound post here at Screen Scene and Ardmore Sound last year.

Starring Ferdia Walsh- Peelo, Lucy Boynton, Jack Reynor, Maria Doyle Kennedy and Aidan Gillen, the film was Produced by Martina Niland, Anthony Bregman, Paul Trijbits, Christian Grass and John Carney.

Funded by the IFB and Merced Media Partners, with production companies Cosmo Films, Likely Story, and Filmwave bringing the film to big screen, the Screen Scene and Ardmore Sound credits can be found below:
