MR TAYTO IS MORE THAN JUST A CRISP IN THESE FANTASTIC NEW ADS FROM BUTTER AND PUBLICIS DUBLIN March 10, 2015

Butter and Publicis Dublin have joined forces to show the public why Mr.Tayto is more than just a crisp – he’s the best bud you’ll ever have!

Launching on the 23rd of February, the campaign (consisting of one 40 second and two 20 second spots) features the much loved crisp mascot Mr Tayto swooping to save us from potentially mortifying situations like social media sleazing or wearing offensively restrictive shorts in public (we’ve all been there).

Directed by Lorcan Finnegan and Produced by Grainne Tiernan for Butter, the spots were created over at Publicis Dublin, where Rachel Carey was the copywriter under Creative Director Ger Rowe and Agency Producers Niamh Skelly and Rachel Murray.

The adverts completed full post production here at Screen Scene, where they were edited by Tom O’Flaherty, Allen Sillery was the Flame artist, and Sinead “The beauty” Bagnall Post Produced to perfection

The ads are currently airing across all major Irish TV channels.
