Following in the vein of audience favourites ‘There’s something about Patrick’ and the ‘Only Viking in The village’, Neil Delamere’s new series ‘Holding Out For a Hero’ will see the wise cracking funster delve into the realms of Irish history once again, this time to discover more about the famous Irish legends.

Kicking off next Monday, the 4 part series will serve up a two fisted tonic of laughter and insight to viewers as Neil becomes immersed in the lore of heroic figures like the Fianna, Pirate Queen Grace O’Malley and the infamous Red Hugh O’Donnell, cultivating fresh new material to take to the stand up stage.

Produced by Anne Heffernan and Directed by Maurice Linnane for Mind The Gap Films,  Holding Out For a Hero completed Full Picture and Sound Post here at Screen Scene, where it was edited by everyone’s favourite elf featured warrior princess, Martha Meyler.

Terrific twosome Hubert Montag and John O’Riordan supplied the Graphics; formidable looking man’s man, Warren Dowling, onlined; sparkly eyed colour wizard, Gary Curran, graded; and Mark ‘The Complexion’ Fitzpatrick handled the Sound Mix.
