SCREEN SCENE VFX AT THE BAFTAS May 1, 2015

Screen Scene VFX were in attendance at the BAFTA TV Craft Awards last weekend.

VFX Supervisor Ed Bruce, 3D Supervisor John O’Connell and VFX Co-ordinator Nicholas Murphy were nominated in the category of Special, Visual and Graphics on behalf of the wonderfully talented SSVFX team for their incredible work on Ripper Street Season Three . 

SSVFX were solely responsible for creating the Visual Effects for the third season of Tiger Aspect’s hit Victorian crime drama, which recently returned to screens courtesy of Amazon Prime.

Speaking about the nomination, SSVFX Supervisor Ed Bruce said it was “a great nod for all our team in SSVFX, from our wonderfully talented artists to our production team. This level of recognition again helps highlight SSVFX’s work and our growing VFX community here in Ireland.”

SSVFX’s upcoming projects include Starz hit show ‘Black Sails’, ITV’s The Frankenstein Chronicles‘, Lenny Abrahamson’s ‘Room’ and the screen adaptation of Ken Follett’s best selling novel A Dangerous Fortune’Their work can currently be seen on Season five of Game of Thrones airing on HBO and Sky Atlantic.
