Screen Scene wins another Gold at the Australian Effects and Animation Awards August 21, 2015

For the second year in a row, Screen Scene VFX have taken home the Gold at the Australian Effects and Animation Awards (AEAF) for their spectacular VFX work on BBC series, Ripper Street!

Taking place in Sydney, the international competition, now in its 19h year, celebrates creative and technical excellence in the use of visual effects and animation. Emerging victorious in the category of Best TV series VFX, Ripper Street beat out stiff competition from ‘Fortitude‘ and ‘Australia: The Story of Us‘ to take the top spot at this years event.

“We couldn’t be more delighted with the win!” cackled SSVFX Supervisor Ed Bruce as he dashed from room to room embracing his beloved team members upon hearing the news.”It just goes to show, when you’re as lucky as I am to be surrounded by a extremely talented bunch, good things happen. This level of recognition on an international stage once again helps to highlight SSVFX’s ability to compete at the highest level. Well done one and all!”

SSVFX were solely responsible for creating the Visual Effects for the third season of Tiger Aspect‘s hit Victorian crime drama. You can check out there spectacular work on display in the fantastic breakdown video above.
