Screen Scene’s Niall Brady in the running for glory at this weekends Golden Reel Awards February 25, 2016

The MPSE Golden Reel awards take place this weekend in Los Angeles, with our very own Niall Brady in the running for the Best Sound Editing (dialogue and ADR in a Feature film) award for his work on Lenny Abrahamson’s Room.

The MPSE Golden Reel Awards recognise excellence in an array of sound editing achievement, from sound effects and foley to dialogue and ADR to music and score integration, with the winners set to be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites on February 27th.

Niall is up against the likes of Mad Max and Star Wars in the category, the full list of which can be found below:

Full Sound Post on Room took place here at Screen Scene and at Armore Sound. The film was edited by Independent Spirit Award nominee, Nathan Nugent, with Screen Scene providing all the films visual effects.

Room, which is up for four Oscars including Best picture and best Director this weekend, is currently screening in cinemas nationwide.
