‘Song of the Sea’ wins Best Irish Feature at the Galway Film Fleadh July 14, 2015

Oscar nominated animation Song of the Sea took home the award for Best Irish Feature at the 2015 Galway Film Fleadh last weekend.

Written by Will Collins and produced by Paul Young of Cartoon Saloon, the film, which opened in Irish cinemas last Friday, was Directed by Tomm Moore (The Secret of Kells) and tells the incredible story of the last Seal Child’s journey home…

Screen Scene’s Garret Farrell had the pleasure of recording the vocal talents of many of the actors for the film including Brendan Gleeson, Pat Shortt, Lisa Hannigan, Fionnula Flannagan and David Rawlel, out on The Main Stage in Ardmore sound
