Independently produced short film, The Struggle of Libations, screened at the Palm Springs Shortfest last weekend.

The first film from writer / director, Erin Mullally, this charming “dramedy” tells the story of a man undertaking a nighttime odyssey across Dublin while questioning his only meaningful relationship… the one he maintains with his post-work pint.

Starring long-time character actor Des Braiden (The Boxer, The Tudors) alongside newcomers David McGowan and Nadia Dibbs , the short underwent post production here at Screen Scene where it was edited by Phil Jackson. Warren Dowling was the finishing Editor, while Gary Curran was the colourist.

Jennie Breen was the shorts Sound Editor, Eoghan McDonnell was the Foley Artist, Ivan Nicholas was the Foley recordist, and Emma Butt provided the Sound Mix.
