GOT6

IMDB released their ‘Top 10 TV shows of 2016’ list this week, and we’re delighted to report that HBO’s drama ‘Game of Thrones’ and History channels ‘Vikings’ were prominently featured.

Game of Thrones topped the list for the fifth consecutive year, while ‘Vikings’ came in at a very respectable ninth place.

Screen Scene are proud t0 have worked on both shows, providing a Dailies service and ADR for  ‘Vikings’, while our VFX department supplied over 600 effects shots for Game of Thrones sixth season, contributing close to 150 shots to the  Emmy award winning episode, ‘Battle of the Bastards’.

Speaking on the IMDB top ten list this afternoon, Screen Scne MD Jim Duggan said “A Dublin based post and VFX facility working on one top ten show might be luck, but two of the top ten, we are going to put that down to talent, professionalism and sheer awesomeness.”

Massive congratulations to all involved on the well deserved popularity and success of both shows.
