SPLASH!
Screen Scene posted gem When Harvey Met Bob nabbed an award at the New York Festivals International Television and Film Awards 2012 ceremony last month (17th April).
The awards ceremony honouring what the festival organisers describe as The World’s Best TV Programs & Films’ confusingly moved out of its New York base for the first time this year and took place at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. Perplexing.
Charting the extraordinary relationship between Bob Geldof and promoter Harvey Goldsmith as they set up the historic Live Aid event, ‘When Harvey Met Bob’ received a Bronze World Medal in the Drama category, placing ahead of television programmes and films from over 40 countries worldwide. Which is nice.
Written by Joe Dunlop, When Harvey Met Bob is directed by Nick Renton and produced by Catherine Magee. The executive producers are Robert Cooper and Kate Triggs for Great Meadow Productions. Tony Cranston completed the Offline at Screen Scene, while Niall Brady, Kiara Murphy and Ken Galvin took care of the sound edit and mix. Angela Cerasi graded the project and Oleg Jitov completed Online.
BONUS FACT: I’m going to eat SO much bread today. I don’t even care how fat I get. Life!
