
The final episode of Music Changes Lives aired this week on RTÉ. The inspirational four-part documentary series demonstrates the transformative power of music. In the last installment, St Ultan’s School prepares for their first ever Holy Communion and Muinteoir Ann tries to convince the children to donate some of the money they will receive to The Irish Guide Dogs Association.
In St Agnes School, the girls who were successful in their Dublin Youth Orchestra audition get ready for their first rehearsal with their new orchestra mates.
Joanna Crooks organises a big end of year concert for the St. Agnes orchestra where they will get to perform side by side with professional adult musicians.
The seven and eight-year-olds of St. Ultan’s orchestra face the biggest challenge of their young lives - a live performance at the National Concert Hall while the sixth class girls in St. Agnes prepare to move on to secondary school.
