DEAL OR NO DEAL

Deal or No Deal finishes up this week on TV3.

Entertainer Keith Barry hosts the show that sees one lucky contestant take on a battle of nerves, courage, risk and reward against the mysterious Banker. Faced with 22 identical sealed boxes ranging from 1c to €250,000, the player carefully picks their way through the rounds. Each box chosen is pivotal and players must rely on instinct, gut feeling and luck to get them through the game. All the time the ever-watchful, ever-present Banker plays a psychological game, enticing and tempting the contestant into taking the offer. They have to play the game with passion and determination and be prepared for the best possible outcome… but also the worst.

Deal or No Deal is produced by Endemol with full picture and sound post taking place at Screen Scene where Sarah Caraher is the project coordinator, Neil McLaughlan and Simon Thornton are the series Editors, Oleg Jitov and Warren Dowling complete Online and Mark Fitzpatrick is the Dubbing Mixer. Screen Scene’s sister company Observe are the Outside Broadcast unit for the series which is shot at Ardmore Studios. The series is sponsored by the National Lottery.
