
Ad agency Young Euro RSCG has recently created two innovative campaigns for Bulmers - one digital, one ambient. The first, the Words Campaign, was the first digital outdoor campaign by an Alcohol Brand in Ireland. Digital screens from the Titan Group, present in a number of locations throughout Dublin including Pearse, Connolly and Heuston Train Stations, play the 4 x 20sec commercials throughout the day/evening. The benefit of the medium is that the agency can choose the time at which they want the advertisement to run, allowing for more efficient targeting and buying.
The second, an ambient campaign was released to coincide with the launch of new Bulmers Pear. Embrace The Pear used Light Walkers, portable light projector systems from the team at Picture Works which project images and video on walls, footpaths and any other available surface, whilst interacting with the consumers. The Light Walkers, as well as some eye-catching life sized pears, were present in Dublin City centre on May 1st and 2nd this year.
The Screen Scene graphics department worked closely with the team at Young Euro RSCG in creating the visuals for both projects.
