The unbeatable men and women of Screen Scene VFX have taken over 41 Upper Mount Street!
With the last year whipping past in an epic blur of VES awards and Emmy nominations and a six month roster of projects rushing down the gun barrel to explode over their angelic faces, SSVFX have had to expand to meet demand.
Bigger and better than ever before, Screen Scenes all new dedicated Visual effects facility offers vastly increased capability in a more focused environment to better service our clients; domestic and international.
Recently welcoming two new additions to the admin team, with Screen Scene favourite Kenneth Coyne returning from his travels to offer his good looks and quick wits to his new role as VFX Production Assistant, and sparkling ray of sunshine Amy James swooping in as VFX Coordinator to the delight of all and sundry, bringing with her a wealth of diverse and technical experience from such high profile projects as ‘Avatar’, ‘Clash of the Titans’, and Aardman’s Studio’s ‘Pirates’.
Milling about in a vibrant hive of jaw skewing genius and amiable exuberance, our devastatingly attractive, keen willed and valiant operators now weave their magic out of four purpose piped Artist Rooms, appropriately named after iconic people and films that have shaped the realm of visual effects:
The Schüfftan Room – Dawn Room—Fleischer Room and Monkeyshines No.1! - Look them up! - And who could forget The Méliès Suite, our state of the art presentation room for client review sessions, an optimum viewing space.
“This is AWESOME, just awesome… pure awesomeness!” VFX Supervisor Edward Bruce shrieked while slam dancing around his office with euphoria eyed co workers Nick, Keith, Kenny, Amy and Sarah flinging fist pumps, high fives and ‘yeehaws’ in the background like a group of primal apes off their faces on pure joy.
