Ballet Chancers

Airing on RTE in November 2008, ‘Ballet Chancers’ followed six Irish Hip Hop dancers as they trained under Monica Loughman, Ireland’s most famous ballerina, in a bid to perform in The Nutcracker with The Irish Youth Russian Ballet Company.

The six-part series followed the progress of the protégés over four months of intense training, from the audition stages to their final days of rehearsal.
