Dirty old Towns

Running for two terrific series, ‘Dirty Old Towns’ followed Diarmuid Gavin on his journey to clean up the towns of Ireland with the power of people and the language of ideas.

Over twelve glorious episodes (six per season) Diarmuid led a national campaign to give Ireland’s dirtiest towns their pride of place back – not with money, not with the government, but with the people living there, changing attitudes across the nation as he encouraged the public to take back responsibility for their towns.

Posted here at Screen Scene, ‘Dirty Old Towns’ was edited Juangus Dinsmore, with Colín O’Cearbhaill serving as Online Editor. John O’Rirdain supplied the Graphics, with Mark Fitzpatrick handling the Sound mix.
