For the uninitiated, the show sees singles from across the country arrive at a restaurant for a blind date, where tiny cameras unobtrusively capture every moment of their time together as they size each other up and decide whether they’re interested in taking things further.
The Screen Scene Group brought its considerable talents to every aspect of the production and post production with an end to end “lens to Tx” service.
Sister companies Observe and Roll to Record (the industries leading fixed rig supplier) teamed up to film the show using a 16 camera setup with 2 log in positions, 4 streams and 16 audio tracks per stream to capture all the magic as it happened. Then a seamless media handshake effortlessly moved the material from location right into the belly of the post house where full post production of the show was completed by an incredible team of editors , colourists, mixers and finishers.
Edited by Ciara Brophy, Stevie Vickers, Orla daly, James Hourihane and Cuan Mac Conghail, with Colm Giles and Paul Rankin assisting, Warren Dowling was the finishing editor on the series, while Sophia Tamburrini graded and Aishling Vesey supervised post production.
