Ghosts of Duffy’s Cut

Released in July 2006, this fascinating documentary uncovers the mysterious deaths of fifty-seven young immigrant Irishmen, who set out from Derry in 1832 to start new lives in Phildelphia working on the railroads. Within 8 weeks these men were all dead and buried in an unmarked mass grave called Duffy’s Cut.

‘The Ghosts of Duffy’s Cut’ was edited at Screen Scene by Juniper Calder and Juangus Dinsmore, graded by Gary Curran, HD finished by Warren Dowling and sound mixed by Mark Fitzpatrick.

The film was directed by Stephen Rooke and Ruán Magan and  produced by Dave Farrell for Tile Films.
