Holding Out For a Hero

Following in the vein of audience favourites ‘There’s something about Patrick’ and the ‘Only Viking in The village’, Neil Delamere’s 2014 series 'Holding Out For a Hero’ sees the wise cracking funster delve into the realms of Irish history once again, this time to discover more about the famous Irish legends.

Produced by Anne Heffernan and Directed by Maurice Linnane for Mind The Gap Films, the 4 part series serves up a two fisted tonic of laughter and insight to viewers as Neil becomes immersed in the lore of heroic figures like the Fianna, Pirate Queen Grace O’Malley and the infamous Red Hugh O’Donnell, cultivating fresh new material to take to the stand up stage.
