Murder On Main Street

Originally airing on RTE in 2006, "Murder on Main Street" tells the story of Ann McCabe, the widow of Irish police officer, Detective Jerry McCabe who was murdered in the small village of Adare, in Limerick County by members of the Provisional IRA attempting to rob a post office in June 1996.

The film examines what happened and why, and records how Ann McCabe fought to make meaning of her husband’s cruel execution and resisted all attempts from the Republican movement to have the killers released as part of the Irish Peace process.
