Emer Reynold’s stunning documentary on NASA’s Voyager mission, THE FARTHEST, makes its international premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York this evening.

Written and directed by Reynolds, the two-hour film chronicles the four-decade work of nuclear-powered probes Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, which have travelled over 22 million combined miles since leaving earth to study the outer solar system.

Powerful, poetic and cinematic, THE FARTHEST celebrates these magnificent machines, the men and women who built them and the vision that propelled them farther than anyone could ever have hoped.

Produced by John Murray and Clare Stronge for Crossing the Line Films, our very own Steve Fanagan was the re-recording mixer, sound designer and supervising sound editor for the film.

The Farthest took home the Audience Award and the award for Best Irish Documentary at the Audi Dublin International Film Festival back in February, and is set for cinema release later this year.

The Tribeca Film Festival will continue to run until April 30th. Further details on the festival can be found HERE.
