‘Game of Thrones’ wins five Visual Effects Society Awards February 13, 2017


We’re delighted to report that ‘Game of Thrones’ won big at this years Visual Effects Society Awards.

The critically adored fantasy took top honours in the categories of Outstanding Visual Effects in a Photoreal Episode; Outstanding Animated Performance in an Episode or Real-Time Project; Outstanding Created Environment in an Episode, Commercial, or Real-Time Project; Outstanding Effects Simulations in an Episode, Commercial, or Real-Time Project;  and Outstanding Compositing in a Photoreal Episode at this years ceremony,which took place on February 7th at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California.

Screen Scene VFX  supplied over 600 effects shots for Game of Thrones sixth season, contributing close to 150 shots to the award winning episode, ‘Battle of the Bastards’, which also took home the Best Visual Effects award at last years Creative Arts Emmys.
