New Drama series ‘BLOOD’ begins Monday on Virgin Media One October 5, 2018

Original drama series ‘Blood’ will make its premiere on Virgin Media One on Monday evening.

Written by Sophie Petzal (‘Riviera’) and produced by Jonathan Fisher (‘Midsomer Murders’) for Company Pictures in association with Element Pictures, ‘Blood’ is a six-part psychological crime thriller that follows the saga of a family in rural Ireland.

After the sudden death of her mother, estranged youngest daughter Cat (Carolina Main) returns to her family home and suspects her father Jim (Dunbar) may have been involved in her mother’s death.

Commissioned by Virgin Media Television, Blood has already been acquired by distributors in the UK and the US.

Directed by Lisa Mulcahy and Hannah Quinn, full picture and sound post on the series took place here at Screen Scene, where it was edited by Isobel Stevenson and Derek Holland.

Niall Brady was the Sound Supervisor, Ken Galvin was the sound re-recording mixer, Donal O’Kane the colourist and Warren Dowling was the online editor.

The first episode of ‘Blood’ airs on Monday, October 08th at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
