Anti-abuse campaign attempts to ‘SAVE OUR TROLLS’ in star studded music video May 21, 2018

Screen Scene was recently involved in the ‘Save Our Trolls’ internet awareness campaign.

Made by Mother London, ‘Save Our Trolls’ is a spoof charity campaign song that aims to raise awareness on a serious cause — online abuse — and ultimately have it recognized as a public health issue.

Created by a group of women who have suffered online abuse, the song ‘aims to provoke a national discussion about the mental state of those who choose to indulge in such damaging behaviour, instead of solely focusing on the targets of the abuse – the song turns the mirror onto those who abuse. The hashtag? #TakeBackConTROLL.’

Featuring a host of celebrities including Charlotte Church, Miranda Hart and Andy Serkis; Laura Whitmore recorded and filmed her section here at our studio on Upper Mount Street, where Ken Galvin was the Sound Recordist and Saoirse Finnegan co-ordinated.
