Airing in January of 2015, RTÉ’s gripping TV trilogy charting the rise and fall of former Taoiseach Charles Haughey completed full post production here at Screen Scene.

Starring Aidan Gillen in the lead role alongside fellow ‘Love/Hate’ actors Tom Vaughan-Lawlor and Laurence Kinlan, the series charts the emergence of modern Ireland through the mesmeric figure of Charles J Haughey and his pursuit of power, wealth and glamour.

Produced by Touchpaper and Element Pictures, the drama covers Haughey’s turbulent political career from 1979 to 1992, with Vaughan-Lawlor playing Haughey’s adviser PJ Mara and Kinlan as Independent TD Tony Gregory.

Written by Dublin playwright Colin Teevan and Directed by Kenny Glenaan and Charlie McCarthy, the three 90 minute installments have undergone full Picture and Sound post Production here at Screen Scene, where Nathan Nugent and Isobel Stephenson edited, Simon Thornton onlined, Gary Curran graded, Michelle Fingleton Supervised Sound and Garret Farrell provided the mix.
