One of the great successes of 2007, Element Pictures feature film, 'Garage', was directed by Lenny Abrahamson, written by Mark O’Halloran and produced by Ed Guiney.

It picked up a number of awards including the coveted CICAE Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007 and was met with rave reviews, with Ciaran Carty of The Sunday Tribune heralding it as “a coming of age for Irish cinema”.

Set against the backdrop of the transformation of a small Irish town, Garage is the startling hypnotic and austerely funny story of Josie’s search for acceptance and of what happens when the little niche he has managed to carve out for himself comes under threat.

DOP on the feature was Peter Robertson who was nominated for an IFTA for his work. The film was posted in Screen Scene with Gary Curran grading in the DI-One suite. Screen Scene also completed the finishing and film-out of the project.
