“What makes Ireland great, makes Ireland great for business,” according to IDA Ireland's 2013 advertising campaign for inward investment.

The 60-second advertisement, targeted at “C-suite executives” (chief executives, chief financial offers, chief operations officers) in North America, demonstrates how Irish culture and heritage have had a positive effect on Ireland’s corporate environment, using well known traditional ideas to draw attention to the newer aspects of the country that foreign direct investors will find attractive.

The originally ad ran on US business channels Bloomberg and CNBC, complemented by an “extensive presence on digital platforms”, again targeting executive audiences.

Directed by Steve Greene and Produced by Andy Bradford for Sweet Media, the spot was created by Publicis Dublin, where Ronan Nulty was the creative Director, Niamh Skelly Produced and Avril Durkan handled Art Direction.
