Adapted by  Emma Donoghue from her own book, Room stars Brie Larson, Joan Allen and William H. Macy (Shameless, Magnolia), and tells the harrowing story of a young woman (Larson) and her 5-year-old son, Jack, who live in confinement in a 10-foot by 10-foot single room. The room is the only home Jack has ever known, but as his curiosity is building alongside his Mothers own desperation, she knows it cannot contain either indefinitely... An Element Pictures and No Trace Camping production, produced by Ed Guiney and David Gross, Room was nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director for Lenny Abrahamson. Brie Larson took home the award for Best Actress. Full sound post on the film took place here at Screen Scene and at Ardmore Sound.
