Directed by John Hayes, written by Mark Tuthill and produced by Tricia Perrott, “The Girl” is an atmospheric story of an emotionally fragile English woman who moves to the West of Ireland with her husband to move on with her life after a series of devastating miscarriages. When she encounters a mysterious stray young girl, all her dormant maternal instincts surface. But, is the child a gift or a curse?

The Girl was edited by Juniper Calder here at Screen Scene, where Gary Curran supplied the grade, Gavin Casey worked his inimitable brand of magic on Flame and Mike MCarthy handled the 3d. Simon Thornton was the online editor, Emma Butt provided the Sound Edit with Garret Farrell taking care of the Mix.
